New Fridge!

After more than a month without a fridge (after our brand new one went on the blink), we have a NEW fridge!

NO MORE coolers taking up the floor in our kitchen, no more making tons and tons of ice with filtered water to fill the coolers.... aaaahhhhh. The fridge is a wonderful invention!!

Unfortunately, the sad part of this story is that our previous new fridge cannot be fixed. The part that was hand carried from the USA did not fix it, and after another week of testing every wire and circuit and connection in the fridge, the electricians still could not fix it.

So we have a dead fridge on our hands, which is unfortunate because it has only been used for 2 months.

We finally decided to go shopping for a new fridge, and we are grateful to live in a big city where that is possible. We found a good LG fridge (seeing as the Maytag man is nowhere to be found on this continent, we decided we needed to go with a company that has local electricians and parts that are available locally!). Although it IS a setback financially, that's part of life, and we are trusting God to continue to provide for us.

Yeay for the invention of refrigerators (and coolers, even though we were tired of them taking up our kitchen floor space!!). It's amazing how happy it makes us to walk into our kitchen now with a fridge in the correct place, plugged in and working quietly!!
